Mike Griffith, covering University of Georgia football for The Atlanta Journal-Constitution and DawgNation, joins Next Up to break down the Houston Texans selecting cornerback Kamari Lassiter with the No. 42 overall pick in the NFL Draft.
The Texans drafted Lassiter following the Philadelphia Eagles trading up for Cooper DeJean and the New Orleans Saints drafting Kool-Aid McKinstry.
"I don't think [Lassiter] is a future Pro Bowl guy," but "this is a solid pick," Griffith said. "He's got to beef-up a little bit" to play outside," but Lassiter is "not going to disappoint you with his assignments."
Griffith also previews the 2025 NFL Draft and how Georgia's Carson Beck might be a top quarterback in next year's class.
