Got a big one planned for tomorrow, beginning at 7a and racing right up to 10a. We'll lead with a little wrap of what's happening in the outdoors - like trout in the surf, king mackerel at the Surfside jetty, redfish all over, and some pretty good bass getting yanked from area lakes.
Then at 7:30, it's the season's first installation of Going Deep with Capt. Brian Stephens, and we'll be joined around 7:45 by the legendary Tred Barta.

At 8a, we'll soften the tone with Sue Reed and some talk about FeatherFest, a gathering of birders in Galveston this weekend. From there, we go to Jeff Pierce from Mustad for an update on that company's Hook-A-Million contest (which hasn't yet seen a winner). The hour wraps with Ryan Efaw from Skim Jam, a fund-raiser launched by some young guys who are skinned-knee deep into skim boarding.
In the 9, we launch with Steve Timms, CEO and president of the HGA, to explain why the PGA Tour's schedule glitch for 2013 won't hurt the prestige of the Shell Houston Open, and then we'll talk about playing off hilly lies with PGA pro Dean Choate from The Raven's Nest in near Huntsville. And maybe, if he behaves, I'll let Alex Middleton bring us up to speed on the Rockets and Astros.
