SportsTalk 790 was live Thursday night for our NFL Draft Party at Christian's Tailgate. Here's a video of our hosts Greg Koch, Lance Zierlein and Adam Wexler as they predict who the Texans will select, and then get fan reaction after the Texans select Mercilus with the 26th pick:

The 6-foot-3, 261-pound Mercilus is an early-entry junior who only started for one season in college. He led the nation in sacks (16) and forced fumbles (8). He earned All-Big Ten honors and won the 2011 Ted Hendricks award.

The Texans finished 10-6 last season and won their first AFC South title to earn the franchise's first playoff berth.

Houston took some key losses in free agency, with career sacks leader Mario Williams, right tackle Eric Winston and right guard Mike Brisiel signing with other teams. The Texans cut Winston and traded All-Pro linebacker DeMeco Ryans to Philadelphia.

 -Z-Report Says - Jacksonville covets a wide receiver and I can see them trading up just a couple of spot to make that happen since Tampa can make do without Kalil.

 -Z-Report Says - The only team more desperate for help at left tackle would be Arizona, but they don't have enough ammo to come and get Kalil.  The Rams want to move back and the Bills want Kalil.  This trade could very well happen if Minnesota takes Claiborne and the Browns take Richardson.

8         Miami - Ryan Tannehill, QB, Texas A&M
9         Carolina - Quinton Coples, DE, North Carolina

 -Z-Report Says - The Cardinals need tackle help in the worst way and this is simply too early for Riley Reiff or Cordy Glenn.  Look for the Cardinals to try and trade this pick and pick up another draft pick since they gave away their 2nd this year in exchange for Kevin Kolb.  If they stand pat,
